Featuring a 4000 sq ft mirror pool, Bradford’s multi-award winning City Park contains the largest urban water feature in the UK. The main fountain can shoot up to 100ft, and the 54 fountains running around the edge of the pool can be programmed to produce hundreds of different variations. By day the water is an ideal play area for children. At night the perimeter fountains are lit to produce hundreds of beautiful colours. Renowned artist, Wolfgang Buttress designed City Park’s ten lighting columns to look like giant water reeds – these house smart lighting, motion sensors and laser projectors which create a subtle laser show at night. The pool can be completely drained to allow the holding of a wide range of quality events, most of which are free to attend.
